Our story

How it began

Goal Diggers began in Kigali as a small circle of friends who wanted to do more than talk about books. From the first meeting — where we read together and imagined what a generous life might look like — the idea took shape: what if reading well and giving well could live in the same room?

Today we're a growing community of readers in Kigali, meeting every Sunday at Fablab Rwanda to discuss one book each month, and paying school fees for five remarkable children whose futures we get to be part of. Every member is a reader. Every reader is a sponsor.
